How to Know If Elderly Care Services Are Needed

Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) are basic self-care tasks usually learned in early childhood. These tasks include feeding, toileting, selecting proper attire, grooming, maintaining continence, putting on clothes, bathing, walking and transferring (such as moving from bed to wheelchair). When you or your loved one cannot perform these tasks independently, it is time to consider outside help.
